Srinagar: Thousands of people on Monday participated in the funeral procession of the slain militant killed in a gunfight with government forces along with two of his associates in Hakoora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district today morning.
Eesa Fazili, a resident of Soura area of Srinagar, along with his two associates were killed in an overnight gunfight with government forces in Hakoora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
In the morning, as soon as the slain militant’s body reached his Soura residence, thousands of people gathered there to participate in his funeral prayers.
Amid pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans , slain Easa’s body was carried by mourners from his home to a local ground where his funeral prayers were held.
