Pulwama: Clashes erupted on Monday afternoon between Government forces and youth near Police station at South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, against the killing of three militants in Anantnag gunfight.

Sources said that youth pelted stones on forces near police station Pulwama, who retaliated by firing tear smoke shells, triggering clashes.

Clashes were going on when last reports came in.

Pertinently three militants were killed in an overnight encounter in Hakoora area of Anantnag district.

 All Higher secondary schools  and colleges have been closed in the district to avoid law and order problem.

Notably spontaneous shut is being observed in most parts of South Kashmir to mourn killings.
