Jammu: Two drug peddlers, involved in an inter-district drug racket, were arrested by police in Jammu division’s Kishtwar district, a police official said on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off about sale and purchase of banned sedatives, the police yesterday conducted a raid in Kuleed area, he said.

“940 tablets of TopSpas tablets were recovered during the raid,” the official said.

The arrested duo was identified as Shoiab Zargar and Shewat Kumar.

Police said a case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations in the matter are underway. (PTI)
