JKBOSE postpones examinations scheduled up to March 7

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) has postponed all the exams scheduled up to Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

Owing to the present situation after the killing of six youth in south Kashmir, BOSE has decided to postpone all the exams which are scheduled up to Wednesday, Board officials said.

The fresh dates for the examination will be announced separately later, they added.

Notably, authorities have already announced that all schools and colleges in Kashmir would remain closed till Wednesday.

As per the officials the decision has been taken as a “precautionary measure” to avoid “law and order situation” in the Valley.

Pertinently situation in Kashmir is tense after six youth were killed yesterday in south Kashmir’s Shopian.
