Jammu symbol of religious brotherhood, a ray of hope: Mehbooba

Jammu: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here on Sunday said that Jammu is a symbol of religious brotherhood and a ray of hope in today’s disturbing atmosphere. Asking Jammu people to stand up unitedly against bigger forces conspiring to disturb religious brotherhood in the region the Chief Minister said peace holds key to employment the root cause of unrest in Kashmir. She said “Gandhiji saw a ray of hope emerging from Kashmir but I see a ray of hope emerging from Jammu”.
According to the KNS correspondent, addressing PDP’s youth convention in Jammu the Chief Minister said the people of Jammu bravely welcomed and offer shelter to Kashmiri pandits when they migrated from Kashmir and they arms open embraced muslims when they moved to Jammu for better education during last two years. 
Saying that youth are the victims of unrest and unemployment but peace holds key to both employment Mehbooba said attack on Sunjwan army camp and murder of a minor girl in Kathua were the attempts of big forces to disturb religious brotherhood in Jammu region the Chief Minister asked the worker to be cautious about the evil designs of bigger forces to disturb communal brother hood in the Jammu region.
Saying that secular forces have always thrived in Jammu region the Chief Minister said her Peoples’ Democratic Party under the leadership of later Mufti Mohammad Sayeed choose to ally with the BJP because of the mandate people of Jammu had given to the saffron party. 
Reminding people that late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed choose to ally with the BJP to ensure equal share to the representative of Jammu people in the government the Chief Minister said PDP won’t never let down people of Jammu who once offered mandate to late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed from R S Pora constituency.
According to the KNS correspondent, reiterating her demands for opening up the travel and trade routes between the divided parts of Jammu & Kashmir the Chief Minister said that though Jammu & Kashmir has decided its political destiny by acceding with India but Jammu & Kashmir has to be connected to the outside world through travel and trade routes for the purposes of socio-economic prosperity and fast track development . 
Exuding confidence that Modi led government will take all step for opening up travel and trade routes between the divided parts of Jammu & Kashmir the Chief Minister said peace through dialogue with stake holders and de-escalation is solution to employment which is the root cause of unrest in Kashmir.
