Pulwama: A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) has been launched by government forces in seven villages of Tral area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday afternoon.
Official sources said that the operation was launched by the 42 RR and Tral police after militant movement was detected in the area.
He added that operation has been launched in villages, including Aripal, Handoora, Wagad, Darganaie Gund, Satura, Gadpora and Youngwani villages.
“Door to door searches are going on in the area where militants are believed to have taken refuge”, sources said.
They added that all entry and exit points to and from the area have been sealed by the Government forces and a tight vigil is being kept on to ensure that nobody escapes the village.
