Anantnag: At least eleven persons were injured in a road accident at Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration No JKO3B 5899 while travelling from Anantnag to Vailoo skidded-off the road near Petrol Pump Achabal resulting in injuries to 11 passengers.

Sources said that locals and police reached the spot and rescued the injured persons.

All the injured have been shifted to district hospital Anantnag for treatment.

Meanwhile police have registered a case in this regard.
