Jammu: India and Pakistan armies on Wednesday evening exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control (LoC) Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
A Defence official said that the Pakistan army targeted the forward India posts in Nowshera sector at 1815 hours today.
“The fire was retaliated by the Indian army”, the official added.
The exchange of fire between the two sides was going on when the last reports came in.
