Srinagar: A Cordon and search operation has been started by government forces in Laam village of Tral sub district of southern Kashmir.

Official sources said that 42RR, 180CRPF and Tral police launched the search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
