Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Government Thursday appointed senior IPS officer SP Pani as Inspector General of Police Kashmir range.
Pani was appointed as the new police chief of Kashmir after the State cabinet approved his promotion as IGP alongwith two other officers.
Earlier, Muneer Ahmad Khan who was holding the charge of IGP Kashmir range, has been appointed as ADGP security and home guards.
Amit Kumar has been appointed as in-charge DIG south Kashmir range.
