Srinagar: Government on Tuesday said it has initiated the process of engaging 3000 posts in Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK).
“The policy for engagement of 3000 posts in Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK) has been issued vide government order No. 141-Edu (YSS) of 2017, dated 27-10-2017,” Minister for IT/TE & YSS Imran Raza Ansari said while replying to a written question by MLA Vikar Rasool Wani.
The minister said the engagement of the candidates will be made at zonal level within a district through a district level selection committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner.
Meanwhile, the minister said the selection of youth for Ranji Trophy trial is being done by J&K Cricket Association.
“The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is not under the administrative control of Youth Services and Sports Department and the JKCA is an autonomous organisation with its own administrative and management system in place,” the minister said.
