SOPORE: Relatives of the murdered goldsmith in Sopore including the locals today staged a protest demonstration at Iqbal market Sopore , demanding the victim’s body and also stern action against the accused involved in his murder.

Protesters mostly women blocked the road at Iqbal market Sopore demanding an exemplary punishment to the accused and body be handed-over to them. 

However Sopore administration making all efforts to trace out the body from River, has so far been unable to trace the body.

Tariq Ahmad Malik 32, of Kalaroos Kupwara was abducted from his shop on 26 of December at evening hours and then strangulated before being thrown into River Jehlum.

The accused had later looted cash and jewellery from the shop of victim.

The accused have been arrested, but his body is yet to handover to his family.
