Srinagar: Police on Wednesday arrested three persons including an Over Ground Worker (OGW) from Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A police officer said that a joint team of army’s 29 RR and SOG during a naka at Zangam Bridge in Pattan area and arrested the trio.

The official said that arms and ammunition including a Chinese pistol, with 1 Magzine, 4 rounds, one AK-47 rifle with two magazines and 60 rounds were recovered from them.

The official identified the trio as Miyser Majid Bhat(OGW) son of Abdul Majid Bhat of Sirwaripora Pattan, Muzafar Ahmad Hurra son of Ghulam Mohd and Bashir Bhat son of Munawar Bhat.

 “A case has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigations taken”, the officer said. (GNS)
