Jammu: The Executive body of the Kashmir Administrative Officers Association led by its President Tasaduq Mir met the Chief Secretary B.B Vyas in his office chambers today.
The President was accompanied by Vice-president Anil Sharma, General Secretary Shahid Saleem, Publicity Secretary Waseem Raja, Treasure Rohit Sharma and counsellors of the Association. The Association had a threadbare deliberation with the Chief Secretary on the various issues confronting the KAS fraternity, a statement issued by the KAS association said.
The Chief secretary lauded the officers of KAS cadre for their unswerving commitment and unflinching efforts towards the welfare of the State and its people. He expressed serious concern over the issues plaguing the Service and assured every possible support in getting these issues resolved, the statement said.
The Chief Secretary underscored the need to make the KAS cadre more vibrant and effective. He advised the office bearers of the Association to play their proactive role in this endeavour and make their contribution towards streamlining the premiere Administrative service of the State.
The Association also met the Commissioner Secretary GAD regarding the issues facing the cadre and discussed the various possible solutions in this regard .The Commissioner Secretary GAD expressed his earnestness and assured the Association of his full support and cooperation in getting these issues resolved, added the statement.
