Budgam: Troops arrested at least seven youth during nocturnal raids in Pakharpora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, sparking spontaneous shutdown on Saturday.
Locals informed that government forces conducted nocturnal raids in Pakharpora town and arrested seven youth.
The raids came after recent stone-pelting incidents on Army during two encounters.
On Friday, army fired in air when it came under attack from stone throwing youth after returning from a search operation.
Meanwhile, all the shops and business establishments remained shut while transport also remained off the roads. (CNS)
