Baramulla: The residents of Drangbal village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district are up in arms against the Roads and Building department (R&B) for failing to macadamize the link roads in their area.
The residents told Kashmir Vision that they are facing immense trouble due to the shabby condition of roads here.
Accusing district administration of ‘improper’ approach towards the area, the residents said that the failure of the authorities has added to the miseries of commuters as well as the pedestrians.
The inhabitants said that due to pathetic condition of the road students, employees and also patients face immense hardships to reach their respective destinations.
They added that the department has ignored them at every front and termed their ignorance as ‘step-motherly approach’.
“We don’t see any development in our village,” the locals added.
Meanwhile, the locals here appealed concerned authorities to look into the issue and redress their genuine grievances.
Officials in R&B department Baramulla told Kashmir Vision that the work on the link road has been started through PMGSY and the road will be repaired very soon.
