Sopore: A driver was critically injured when his car went off the road and hit an electric pole in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
The accident took place at Iqbal Market area of Sopore when his speedy Maruti car bearing registration number JK04B-8720 strongly hit with an electric pole.
The driver was identified as Hafiz Hussain, 45, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Kupwara.
He was taken to SDH Sopore from where doctors referred him to SMHS Srinagar in a critical condition.
Meanwhile Sopore police has reached the spot and investigation has been taken up in this regard.
