Srinagar: A girl from Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has bagged the gold medal in Budokan Karate championship 2017 in Bangalore.
Mehreen Jan, daughter of Altaf Banday from Banday Mohalla, Handwara has defeated her rivals and won the gold medal in Budokan Karate championship.
Her relatives and friends have congratulated her for shining at the national platform and bringing laurels to the state.
