One died, three injured in road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara

HANDWARA: One person was killed and three others injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met an accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday morning, reports said.

Reports said that a four-wheeler Vehicle Tavera bearing registration number JK05C-4021 met with an accident at Zachaldara area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. According to the reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it skidded off the road resulting in injuries to the four passengers. All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital.

However, one of them succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. He was identified as Ghulam Mohidduin son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Rajpora while two injured persons hospitalized at Handwara hospital were identified as Mohammad Ramzan Mir son of Wali Mohammad Mir and  Mohammad Yaseen Dar son of Mohammad Majnoo both residents of Aalegam, Handwara.
