Srinagar: Clashes erupted between government forces and protestors in Janglat Mandi area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag town.

Sources said soon after Friday prayers youth took to streets and  started pelting stones on government force who retaliated with tear smoke shells triggering clashes.

Stone pelting incidents were also reported from Sherpora area of Anantnag town.

Meanwhile all shops and business established are closed in the area.
