Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday evening launched a Cordon and search operation in Pinglish village of Tral tehsil in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that heavy deployement of forces has been made in the area.
Pertinently, a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was today morning launched by the government forces in at least 20 villages of South Kashmir’s Shopian and Kulgam districts.
The search operation however ended with no results. Notably, this was the sixth major CASO launched in South Kashmir this year.
