Srinagar: Government forces on Wednesday launched a Cordon and search operation in KP Road Anantnag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Official sources said that forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that heavy forces have been deployed in the area.

Search operation was going on when reports last came in.
