Army resorts to aerial firing in Pulwama village

 

Srinagar: Army on Saturday morning resorted to aerial firing in south Kashmir’s  Pulwama village, sources said.

According to sources, government forces tried to enter Samboora village. However the local youth showed resistance and resorted to stone pelting, forcing the army to flee the spot.

Consequently army fired several shots in air, they said.

Pertinently, the incident happened two days after a JeM militant and two Indian army soldiers were killed in a gunfight in the same area.
