Srinagar: A live hand grenade was today recovered by Police after it was found lying on the roadside near Old Bridge adjacent to DC office and SSp office Kupwara.
Official sources said that the grenade was detected by police on the roadside and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was immediately summoned who later recovered the device.
Meanwhile panic gripped in the area soon after the news regarding lying of grenade spread.
