Srinagar: Director General of Police Dr S.P. Vaid Saturday inaugurated two more residential quarters at Police Housing Colony, Qamarwari.

On this occasion, IGP Kashmir    Munir Ahmad Khan, IGP Headquarters    Surinder Kumar Gupta, DIG CKR    Ghulam Hassan Bhat, SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray, AIG Personnel    Mubassir Latifi, AIG Buildings,    Abdul Waheed Shah, X-en of PHC,    Nasir Zargar were present.

After inaugurating the quarters, Dr Vaid inspected both the residential quarters and sought reports about the facilities being provided in these quarters.

Earlier this month, Dr. Vaid inaugurated seven blocks of accommodation at Kehribal Mattan, four blocks at Dignibal Ganderbal and a residential block at Gulshan Ground Jammu to provide better accommodation to the personnel deployed in the concerned areas.

Jammu and Kashmir Police is upgrading its infrastructure to provide better living and working facilities to the personnel. Various residential and office accommodations have been constructed across the state to strengthen the building infrastructure.
