Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO in Bamdoora village of Kokernag area in South Kashmir’s  Anantnag district.

The operation was launched in the village after forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

All the entry and exit points have been sealed as more forces are being  rushed to the spot, locals told Kashmir Vision.

The forces including 19 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and JKP Kokernag have initiated a massive search Operation in the area.

Pertinently yesterday a similar search operation was  launched in the Kokernag.
