Srinagar: Protests erupted at several places across Srinagar after braid chopping incidents were reported on Monday.

According to the reports, braid chopping incidents were reported in outskirts of Chanpora in Srinagar. People took to the streets after the incident was reported in the wee hours of Monday.

Meanwhile, protests were also reported in Lal Bazaar area of the city after braid chopping incident was reported from the area.

Pertinently, the authorities have announced a reward of six lac for any information on the braid choppers. Meanwhile, over 100 incidents were reported across the Kashmir valley in the last few weeks.
