Srinagar: Government forces launched a cordon and search operation in Langate area of Handwara, reports said.

According to the sources, Handwara police along with Army and SoG launched a cordon and search operation in Yaroo village of Langate following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that 30RR of Army along with other security forces are searching the houses in the area to establish the contact with the militants.
