All education institutions to remain shut across Kashmir on Thursday

Srinagar: After Joint Resistance Leadership asked students to protest at their respective institutions across Kashmir against the braid chopping incidents, authorities decided to shut all the schools and colleges across the valley.

According to the divisional administration Kashmir, all the educational institutes shall remain closed on Thursday in view of law and order situation.

A spokesperson of the administration said that the decision was taken by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Baseer Ahmad Khan in view of law and order situation.

Pertinently, the JRL has asked the students to hold protests in the valley against the rising number of braid chopping incidents.
