Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S.P Vaid has rewarded three police personnel of Traffic Police Jammu for exhibiting alertness during their duty on September 05, thus saving precious life of a lady by foiling her suicide attempt.
The DGP has sanctioned a cash reward of Rs. 5000/- and commendation certificate class-I in favour of Inspector Ashok Singh and SI Sunil Kumar, while Rs.10,000/- and commendation certificate class-I has been sanctioned in favour of Constable Manzoor Hussain.
The DGP, while appreciating an act of honesty by SPO Vaishan Kumar of district Doda, has sanctioned a reward of Rs.10,000/- in his favour. The said SPO had returned Rupees twenty thousand to an SBI Bank official.
