Clashes erupted after government forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in Bellow village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
As soon as news of Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) spread in the area, youth took to streets and pelted stones on government forces who retaliated with tear smoke shells triggering clashes.
Earlier in wee hours forces cordoned off the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
