Government forces on Friday afternoon launched a cordon and search operation in Chaliwan locality of Chithibandey village of Bandipora, reports said.

According to the reports, a joint team of Army’s 13 RR stationed at Aragam & SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police launched the operation in the village following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
