NIA conducts fresh raids in Kashmir

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted fresh searches at 9 locations in Jammu and Kashmir as part of its probe into the ‘terror’ funding case.

The raids are being carried out in four districts across Kashmir.

According to reports, nine places have been raided so far.

Earlier,  the NIA raided residence of Hurriyat leader Aga Hassan in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Yesterday, the NIA carried out searches at 11 places in various parts of the Kashmir Valley and five places in Delhi.

During the operations, houses and business establishments of those suspected of channelising funds to fuel unrest in the Kashmir Valley

The NIA is said to be probing all aspects of funding to separatist leaders and how they reportedly used these funds to fuel unrest in the Kashmir Valley.
