Arrested separatist leader turns ‘approver’

After remaining under National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody for nearly two months, one among the eight Hurriyat leaders has recorded his statement before the central probe agency, nailing pro-freedom leaders.

Sources privy to the development told Kashmir Vision that one among the eight Hurriyat leaders who was arrested in July this year over his alleged involvement in the terror funding case has recorded his statement under section 164 CrPc, nailing Hurriyat leaders.

Earlier, the NIA has arrested eight Hurriyat leaders besides a businessman.

The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has now decided to hold ‘Dharna’ at NIA headquarter in New Delhi on September 7 (Saturday) besides going for voluntary arrest.
