South Kashmir journalists on Wednesday held a peaceful protest outside DC office Pulwama against the detention of a local photojournalist, Kamran Yousuf by National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Media persons while holding banners demanded an immediate release of the detained journalist.
Yesterday, the NIA had arrested two men from south Kashmir, Javaid Ahmed from Kulgam and Kamran Yousuf from Pulwama.
Kamran working as photojournalist with a local daily, is accused of uploading ‘Provocative’video on his Facebook profile while Javaid, a labourer by profession, is accused for instigating violence via WhatsApp.
