NIA arrests two alleged stone pelters

The National Investigation Agency  (NIA) Tuesday arrested two youth who are allegedly involved in stone pelting incidents in Kashmir.

The arrested  duo are Javed Ahmad Bhat from Kulgam and  Kamran Yusuf from Pulwama.

Pertinently , the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has identified 117 suspects who allegedly used 70 Whatsapp groups to organize stone-pelting protests in Kashmir valley, a media report said today.

Consequently, twitter has blocked many Twitter handles and tweets related to Kashmir after receiving official correspondence from the Indian government.

According to reports,  the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology asked Twitter to remove 115 handles and tweets that were found “propagating objectionable content” in a letter dated August 24, 2017.
