A Jammu Kashmir Police (JKP) cop was killed after militant fired upon a police vehicle at Panthachowk on Srinagar Jammu National Highway, on Friday evening.
Sources said that the militants attacked a vehicle of armed police wing in Panthachowk injuring Seven policemen.
Later one JKP cop succumbed to injuries.
Police have rushed towards the spot and the entire area has been cordoned-off and search operation has been launched to nab the militants.
