One militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfight with government forces in  District Police Lines in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The attack claimed by militant outfit Jaish-e- Muhammad has already left three security personnel including two Para-military troopers and a policeman dead.

The attack was carried out by militants in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday when the heavily armed militants stormed in the DPL premises hurling grenades and bullets.

The gunfight was going on when the last reports were filed. According to official sources two more militants are still believed to be holed up.
