Security forces and police today gunned down district commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba Ayoub Lelhari in a brief encounter in Banderpora village of Pulwama.
According to the police sources, the militant was tracked in a vehicle and it led to an exchange in an encounter in the apple orchards in this village, not far away from Koil village.
“Ayub Lelhari district commander LeT eliminated in #Pulwama. Excellent work boys!”, Police chief SP Vaid wrote on twitter.
