District Youth Services and Sports Officer Budgam Muzafar Ahmad Tramboo Tuesday reviewed ongoing works being executed by the department of youth services and Sports in different zones of district Budgam.

All Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEO) and other officials of the department were present during the meeting. The District Youth Services and Sports officer directed the Zonal Physical Education officers to complete all the actives of different disciplines as per the approved calendar.

Zonal Physical Education officers informed Muzafar Ahmad Tramboo that Inter- School activities except Athletics and cricket have been completed and players from the district have participated in Provincial level inter-district tournaments/championships in good number.

The performance of the players was also discussed in the meeting, District officer was informed that players from District Budgam brought laurels by winning overall championship in the Inter District Martial Art Championships.

District Officer also directed the concerned officer to complete the repair work of office building at Char-e-Shareef and also erect football goal posts at football field within a week. He also said that office building and Gymnasium at Char-e-Shareef is an important asset of the Department of youth Services and Sports and it needs proper maintenance and cleanliness.
