A government employee of Health Department was arrested on Tuesday in Tral town of Pulwama district for befooling people.

As per sources  he had taken money in Lakhs from people of Tral area on a promise that he will provide them a government job in return.

Official sources said  that an employee of Health Department , Ali Mohammad Sheikh , S/O Gh Rasool Sheikh, resident of Puchul village  of south Kashmir’s  Pulwama district was arrested in Karmulla Village of Tral town , after Police took cognizance of the information about his fraud of providing jobs to the people.

Police after proper investigation found him guilty in the case, as he taken a lot of money from people in various areas.

A police official while confirming the same  said that accused has been arrested and taken to police station Tral for further investigations.

Meanwhile, FIR 56/207 u/s 420 RP has been lodged against him in police station Tral.
