The Amarnath yatra which began on June 29 has entered its final phase with final prayers on August 7. The Raksha Bandhan will mark the conclusion of 40-day yatra in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The ‘Chhari Mubarak’ carried by a group of sadhus, including its custodian, Mahant Deepindra Giri has joined the yatra at Pahalgam.
This year the yatra has recorded a footfall of 2, 59,042 at Holy Cave till yesterday evening.
