Multiple funerals were held on Thursday for two militants killed in a brief  gunfight with government forces in Gopalpora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam  district.

Pro-freedom and pro-Islam slogans were raised during the funeral of Aaqib and  Sohail in Gopalpora village of Damhal Hanji Pora area  and in Tantray pora village of Yaripora area in Kulgam district.

Three rounds of funeral prayers were held for Sohail at his native village.

Multiple funerals were also held in  Gopal pora area of Kulgam district for slain Aaqib.

Thousands of people from different parts of  south Kashmir have reached Kulgam villages to take part in the funeral prayers of slain militants.

Meanwhile, a group of miitants appeared in  the funeral of slain Suhail Ahmad and fired more than 20 rounds in air on the stage on which dead body of suhail was lying.
