Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Saturday paid tributes to slain JKLF leader, Muhammad Maqbool Malik of Islamabad on his anniversary today.
Recalling his sacrifices and struggle for freedom, Malik according to the statement issued here said that Maqbool Malik was a through gentle man, a gentle natured personality, a religious individual and a resistance lover who strived for the freedom of Kashmir and sacrificed his life for the sacred cause.
“The great martyr from his youthful days till last breath remained steadfast and upright and sacrificed his life for the righteous cause,” he said.
While praying for the heavenly abode of Maqbool and others, JKLF prayed for the success of their righteous cause also.
Meanwhile, JKLF expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of mother of its activist in Kulgam, Basher Ahmad Butt and sister-in-law of JKLF activist in Kralpora Budgam Reyaz Ahmad.
While praying for the heavenly abode of both deceased, JKLF prayed for the patience of their bereaved families.
