Tarigami survives heart trouble, admitted in Hospital 

MLA, Kulgam and senior Communist leader, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami was admitted at Shere-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Sours after suffered a heart block on Saturday night.

 Tarigami, who represents Kulgam continuously since 1996, faced multiple problems during last night at his Srinagar residence and was rushed to SKIMS. After series of tests it was established that he is suffering from heart block, a close aide of the leader said.

“Right now he is out of danger,” a doctor attending on Tarigami said. “He may have to be in the hospital for some more time.”

Meanwhile, SKIMS authorities said Tarigami was suffering from heart block problem. “We had to implant a pace maker and we are planning another heart surgery on Monday,” a senior doctor added.

Dr Shafi, one of the relatives of the lawmaker said, he is on temporary pace maker and the doctors are planning planting a permanent one on Monday. “This is most treatable heard condition in cardiology,” Dr Shafi said. “He is out of danger and doctors are on it.” He said the lawmaker will have to be in the intensive care for some days.

Meanwhile, expressing concern over the health of CPI (M) Secretary and MLA Kulgam Mohd Yousuf Tarigami, who has suffered a heart attack today morning, senior National Conference leader Dr Bashir Ahmad Veeri has prayed for speedy recovery of Tarigami.

Dr Veeri said, Tarigami Sahib is a seasoned and one of the matured political leader of state who’s contribution towards peace, stability and welfare of state is unmatched.

State’s prevailing circumstance require wisdom and experience of leaders like Tarigami to steer it out of uncertainty. He wished a long and healthy life for the ailing leader.
