Three Miltants including Lashkar Toiba District Commander Jibran Killed in an Army ambush of 19RR IN Watergam area Brakpora Anantnag.
The other two were identified as Showkat Lohar and Mudasir Hajam. Sources said that all the three militants killed in the encounter are from Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit.
Amy spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said that three militants have been killed in an operation in the district. “Operation is in progress,” he said.
Earlier, heavy exchange of gunfire was reported from Sheikhpora Watergam near Bulbul Nowgam area of the district.
