Police today arrested one person and recovered 10 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession in Ganderbal, police said today.

Station House Officer Tariq Yousuf said that acting on specific information Ganderbal Police recovered illicit liquor from the possession of Bashir Ahmad Chopan son of Ghulam Qadir Chopan resident of Haripora Ganderbal.

Police said that a case FIR No 140/17 U/S 50 Excise Act has been registered in police station Ganderbal.
