A cleanliness- cum-awareness drive organised  by Villa Himalaya Tourist Resort in collaboration with Tourism Department and District Administration Ganderbal was held today at Kullan village.

Deputy Director Tourism Registration, BDO Kullan, Tehsildar Kullan, ZEO Kullan, School children of Government Middle School Zaripora were also present on the occasion.

During the drive the school children were made aware about the essence of keeping the households, schools and environment clean.

Later, a garbage collection drive was held during which locals were sensitized about proper segregation and disposal of waste.

The programme concluded with plantation of pine trees on banks of River Sindh and a pledge was taken by all the participants to keep the environs clean.
