One militant has been killed in a gunfight that started between government forces and militants in Bamnoo Shadimarg village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district early morning today.

The deceased militant has been identified as Kifayat Ahmed of Bahmnoo and two more are believed to be trapped. 

On a specific information SOG Pulwama and 44RR of army launched cordon and search operation and soon after search operation gun shots were heard in the area.

Gunfight was still on when the last reports came in.
