Internet services remained suspended in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district for second consecutive day on Sunday.
Internet services were suspended in Anantnag district on saturday morning after an encounter broke out in Tangwada Brenti Dialgam in which two militants and two civilians were killed.
An official said that mobile Internet services were suspended to prevent the spreading of rumours on the social networking websites.
Pertinently authorities suspended social networking sites in valley in April for more than one month and after Internet services were suspended in valley or its parts more than 10 times.
